Renogy Monocrystalline Solar Panel 50W 12V

I was confused about this or a similar power panel in a folding system. However, after watching a few YouTube videos showing that the performance and durability of folders and flex panels aren't as good as full glass frames, my decision-making process was definitely one of convenience and not a performance/reliability issue. I have opted for a less comfortable panel and will test it during our camping trip and my ham radio events. I went out and worked remotely with the Goal Zero Nomad 20 during the 4th of July parade and it was hot. I installed a camping inverter and took a small 10" 110VAC personal fan with me. The 20-watt panel barely had enough power to run the 12-volt battery. It ran the full 4 hours but I could read on the voltmeter that I was losing about 0.1 volts every hour and a half, the consumption was a little more than the panel feeding into the system. I'm sure the 50 watt panel will be great going forward, it's more than enough to keep the batter on top, everything else being equal.
