So this is a sugar scrub that works, but oddly despite being a sugar scrub it's not that sweet (but tastes like vanilla). Sugar is mixed with some kind of neutral oil. The sugar granules are large, so it's difficult to clean them off with your fingers, but they work great if you just scrunch your lips. I suggest using a lip balm even if your lips feel hydrated afterwards as the oil doesn't last as long as a lip balm (like using a skin oil versus petroleum jelly, petroleum jelly will always keep you hydrated for longer), especially when you lick your lips lips. remove the remaining sugar because saliva will dry out your lips anyway. Basically, this product works and is probably great for people with chapped lips who don't like super candy.
