Excellent value for money. The sound quality is crisp and clear, in contrast to the muffled voices found on most radios. Use them and truck mounted radios to communicate with other tow trucks in public areas or on the highway. ideal for communication when looking for a car in the parking lot of a large shopping center or looking for a car on the street for which the customer did not provide you with a suitable place. Will go quite far in open areas but is limited to less than a mile in dense urban areas, especially near a lot of other signal interference. It's great to be able to talk on the radio instead of dangerously fiddling with a distracting phone while driving. Programming is quick and easy, delivery is fast. Both charging docks worked well, I'd recommend getting a 12v car charger as well in case you're going camping or something that lasts more than a day but so far haven't had any low battery issues even with heavy use all day. Just make sure you're on legal channels and aren't interfering with distress frequencies in your area.
