Fantastic lamps. I've been going back and forth to order a kit that requires batteries or a puck light system that plugs into an outlet. In the end, the decision was made to use rechargeable batteries. I was researching the best kitchen lighting and decided I needed warm white light. The light they give off is perfect. I take photos so I chose 3M tape. All installed in 10 minutes. One of my best purchases in a long time and probably one of my favorite DIY projects. Such a simple yet dramatic result. I love her! The board is fantastic. When setting up, remember that the puck lights must be within range of the remote signal. I installed one under a cupboard above my fridge (not that we needed light there, but I still had extra light and thought it would do a good job) but it was too high and out of reach for the remote control. I really appreciate the timer (you can set it for 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes) and the ability to dim the lights. I also really like that I can just reach out and click on a light source. When it's time to change batteries, simply twist each one slightly. The cover is removed to reveal the battery compartment. Just change the batteries and turn it back on. Very easy. I highly recommend this lighting system and also recommend purchasing a rechargeable battery. I wouldn't be thrilled to pay for 18 replacement batteries every few months. The batteries will last at least a couple of years without needing to be replaced. I ended up placing 5 lights under the kitchen cabinets and placing the remaining light under the sink to illuminate that area when needed. Really impressed with these lights and cannot recommend them enough.
