Update 07/29This is the best carrier! The second one I ordered came with perch. It was perfect for my jendey. No, she didn't bite through the mesh. I use it to constantly transport her from my fiancé's house to my house. I noticed someone saying perch sucks because their bird can't stand it. I wouldn't say perch doesn't work, but my bird definitely prefers hanging on a net or feeder clip. If necessary, you can always get another perch. It is easy to clean as it has zips all around. I use a napkin or newspaper for this. Since it's only for transportation, she rarely poops in it. Highly recommended! Also, I had a loop at the top for hanging toys. I noticed that another review said they didn't. Anyway, I haven't had any problems with the seller regarding returns. So it's safe to buy if you're worried about missing parts. :) I received this today but found the perch was missing from the package. Didn't know how to contact the seller so I'm sending it back and have already ordered another one hoping it comes with perch. So far I like the design. 3 stars so far. I will update again when I get another one.
