UPDATED RATING: (changed from 4 stars to 3 stars) Just had to order a second cap. I thought about going with another brand, but since the established brand was made of softer plastic, was worn out and leaking, I really didn't want to pay a few bucks more for it. I'm a little frustrated that after a few months both brands I had had to be replaced. This is my 3rd cap in 2 years! The softer branding has gone bad, and that harder plastic is missing a small chunk down the center that keeps the lid from leaking. This takes a bit of getting used to as the lid doesn't want to stay up while drinking and I have to turn the spout a bit so it doesn't close when drinking. . But the perfect sports cap doesn't seem to exist, so I guess I'll stick with it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: (I gave 4 stars at the time) I bought these when my well known brand's sport cap was fading. Although I like the hard plastic part better than the rubber part as it doesn't seem to wear out as quickly, it's not as easy to drink from and seems harder not to make a loud noise when I open my mouth, which is a bit tricky when I'm in a place like a church, movie theater or something. It sticks out a little higher than the big brand mouthpiece and I assume the part you hold on to has a slightly smaller opening for your finger, but that doesn't matter. I had condensation at the top, but I didn't notice a leak when it's closed.
