I bought these babies to discourage the Cardinal (I call him Carl) from attacking my kitchen windows. I cut the sticks and them on the panes of the window (there are 9 of them), but they don't discourage Carl at all - he's just pecking around.They might work as party souvenirs, but they don't seem to work against a stubborn cardinal named Carl.
