I get compliments all the time and for the price they are great! I need them to take them off completely because I have high braces and they wobble a bit at that height. But I definitely feel like they are safe enough for my family. They have a heavy bottom so they don't tip over. I put felt caps on the legs so they don't stretch the floor. You need a drill to screw in a wooden seat. Good size seat. Not too small. Just be careful with the grease on the threaded part of the stool during assembly - it soiled my carpet 😕. I really like the color of the seats. This is a very comfortable mid tone that goes well with any wood!
