This belt sander is ergonomic and easy to use. It has a somewhat slow rotation speed, but large projects will mostly require constant changing of the battery. That thing eats batteries. I have 3 new Ryobi 4Ah batteries and they work great with my other Ryobi tools but this grinder is designed to create friction. Friction = resistance leading to poor battery performance. That is the nature of the animal.
