I think this clamp is a must for any home exhaust installation. If you don't want to weld or don't want to bother, then this is your answer. I recently installed a new rear axle exhaust system from a very reputable manufacturer. Unfortunately, cheap U-clamps were included with the kit which are very difficult to assemble correctly, impossible to tighten and of course can come loose. I was surprised that a manufacturer would spend so much on R&D and then just throw the ball around and pick hardware for an otherwise great product? Well, after noticing all the rattling noises coming from my exhaust, I realized it was a "U" connector. After some research I found them on Revain.whoaa, what's the difference. Not only did they go through so easily, they streamlined my exhaust and made it airtight. The sound of the exhaust has also changed for the better! No more rattles! These clamps are required for exhaust systems that are not supplied with them.
