Based on the photos on the website, each 'usage' picture shows quick release nuts, not nylock nuts. The installation drawing clearly shows the exclusive use of nylock nuts. I assumed the pressure between the bottom plate and the solid quick nuts would be sufficient/easier than using nylock nuts. First ride, 26 min ride, I lost 4 quick release nuts, 2 small brackets and 3 more quick release nuts were in jeopardy. My harnesses/bindings prevented disaster on this trip. I contacted the supplier through Revain and they shipped the parts quickly. Thank you to them for responding positively to my predicament and sending a free replacement. It's possible that using a trailer (poor suspension) compared to using it on the roof of a vehicle (good suspension) exacerbated the vibrations that were causing the problem. For added "peace of mind" I took 3/8" lock washers (overkill, of course) and used them in combination with nylock nuts. The next trip. No problems!
