This is a very cool item! I never thought I would find something like this. Every product I found was made for commercial use and therefore cost over $100. I'm very happy with how well it worked. Of course, as others have pointed out, getting a letter-sized hole punch with it is pretty easy. Just straighten a piece of paper and mark where it ends with a pen. It even worked with the plastic I used! (PLEASE READ BELOW for more details on non-paper materials) Not only is it cheap, but it works very well for single or small page counts. I find the design quite innovative. My project was quite a personal one, I used Canon PIXMA "Matte Photo Paper” and thin plastic comic sleeves. I taped them together with double sided tape and was able to pierce both! I will note that you could only do one side at a time and it took quite a bit of effort to get a clean cut. It's still amazing because it wasn't designed for that at all - and it still worked. **Disclaimer: This was the only non-paper material I used. There is no indication or guarantee that it will work with any non-paper material you try. Finally, the product is only for notebook paper.
