Perfect for a curious young kid.

My son is 6 and loved diving right in to build these. He started on his own and kept going. He only asked for help a few times. Fortunately he let me hang out with him and watch :-) He built and painted each one.

We''ve bought 3 boxes of these so far. One box didn''t have all the pieces and had to be sent back. (Which was very easy to do, but disappointing) We reordered and we are finding that the holes don''t always line up with each other. Some do, but we''ve had to drill 2 new holes. My son ( 10 yrs. ) feels that some completed projects are not very sturdy. However, he is enjoying the concept of these and what does go together well. If you have some basic tools at home you should be able to at least fix some of the issues.
