I really like these but there are a few things to know. First, it is correct that everyone is talking about extreme fragility. Luckily mine arrived intact and well packaged. I ordered 2 because it seemed like one wasn't enough to look good on its own and I'm glad I did. You really need 2, otherwise it looks pretty fragile. I bought a large clear glass cylindrical vase and put white stones in the bottom and it looks very nice. Love the fact that you can plug them in because turning them on and off with the battery would be a huge pain. But something had to be done about the batteries. Since I had 2 of these it was easier to hide them behind the branches - which would only work if placed against a wall or something rather than just standing alone. But here's another issue, the included power cords are black, which seems like a really bad color choice considering they're white. In addition, they do not come with an adapter for connection. Luckily I have several phone charger adapters so I can use them. So if you have a phone charger, you're good to go. But those black wires had to somehow get out of the vase and plug into the outlet. Again, I was able to hide the black cords behind it, but at some point you still see the black cords coming out of the vase and going to the socket. I'm willing to endure it, but others are not. A lot depends on where you want to place them, whether you can hide the batteries and cables. If you decide to use batteries because you don't want the black wires to be visible, note that you'll have to reach for the vase or container every time you turn them on and off, and because they're so fragile, it will not be easy. I would definitely use a timer function for this. Over all I like them and they are cute - I have no regrets that I bought them. One last thing: I can't agree that they are fragile. But as long as you treat them like nitroglycerin, you'll be fine.
