Review on 🧭 MAH Handcrafted Directional Pocket Brass Compass - Ideal Christmas Gift. C-3191 by Mike Campbell

I bought this as a wedding gift and was delighted it arrived just before we left (out of state wedding). The box looked very nice. And that was about it. I opened it and immediately saw that the finish is not at all like the photo. It had many scratches in all directions and was a bit dirty overall. I had to take it out of the box! I'm amazed they were able to put it in there, which might explain the next part. When I opened it, the needle slid along the floor. It came off completely along with the glass. I was looking at it to see what kind of glue I might need to remove to fix it and it doesn't look like it's there. Every part of the compass looked dirty and lacked sharp detail as shown in the photo. As another person pointed out, the needle is also very delicate. He didn't stop but pointed in the right direction. Therefore two stars for the nice packaging (even if it didn't fit) and the fast shipping.
