This is the second one I have bought. I gave one away and liked it so much I bought the same one. This is such a beautiful piece. The brass has a high quality shine and the box is beautifully finished and gorgeous. You will not be disappointed. The company delivers quickly and is trustworthy.

Really good compass. Works as intended. I carry it with me every day and plan to have the lid engraved for my grandson so I can give it to him one day. The brass surface is highly polished and the dial indicator sets quickly and accurately. I couldn't be happier. Excellent value for money and quality!

It was a symbolic gift, not looking for a way out of the jungle. As such a gift, it is ideal. The box is very well made and looks very expensive. The serial number on the side is a very nice touch, as is the plaque on the front. The compass itself is very nice, with a cool cover that opens with a touch of the stem. I have not tried to verify its accuracy. I took it to Things to Remember and had it engraved in less than a day.

I've had it for a few weeks now and I really like it. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the felt lined wooden gift box. The compass itself appears to be mostly brass and the dial is very nice. It actually works like a compass and I sometimes carry it in my back pocket when I'm in an area I don't know that well. Wooden box and the compass itself is of good quality. With normal use, however, the main part of the compass (with dial, main directions, etc.) detached from the brass housing after just a few days. I tried two types of glue to put it back on (superglue and hot glue) and neither of them stuck. So it just hangs in its case and falls out as soon as you open the case. I bought this as a wedding gift and was delighted it arrived just before we left (out of state wedding). The box looked very nice. And that was about it. I opened it and immediately saw that the finish is not at all like the photo. It had many scratches in all directions and was a bit dirty overall. I had to take it out of the box! I'm amazed they were able to put it in there, which might explain the next part. When I opened it, the needle slid along the floor. It came off completely along with
