It was great until 5 months had passed

I bought this for my husband in October. This is a great product. However, the part that holds the laptop loses its grip on the laptop. In the last two weeks the laptop has been dropped several times. Email sent to see if the part protecting the laptop can be guaranteed. Fingers crossed we've only had him for 5 months.
