My husband and I are both side sleepers and have tried many different pillows. Many start out great but become too flat after a few months. Almost all become "hot" after about 30 minutes. When I read that this item is shredded memory foam, I was very skeptical at first. How can something torn to pieces be comfortable? After a few weeks we both love our new pillows! The foam parts are in a very nice separate zippered bag and this bag is in a real pillow bag. I removed some parts as I thought it was too complicated and complete. I may add more over time. Didn't think I could have a pillow that stays cool but these are better than most. I am very happy with the product and am enjoying a much better sleep. Try it! You are a great pillow.
