Looks great on lamps and ceiling fans
Lights look great. Has 8 different modes. You can choose a mode or turn on auto-rotate (this is my favorite mode). There is a timer function that works well. There are also brightness buttons. The remote works fine but you must be within 8 feet. It takes a little time to set up the lighting as you have to position each wire. But once installed, they're set for the season.
