My eldest son and I bought these to improve input for our iPhone 4s and hopefully improve drawing quality in the DrawSomething app. In the end both failed. Although it works like a pointer, you have to move it slowly and sometimes hold it for a second for it to work. The fingers work much better. As for drawing, none of us were artists, but his inability to hold a line without breaking and having to repeat lines over and over again to get them to draw rendered him ineffective. Nothing outside of our fingers that works nearly as well on an iPhone. So unless you really want to play with it I don't see any value, especially when most people look at their paperbacks.
