So waiting for the 3rd generation lock. Mine came DOA. Tried three sets of batteries, confirmed how they should be installed. There was never a beep when inserting the batteries. When they called support they confirmed it was a new lock that never activated and said I could send it to them for repair but no replacement without ETA for repair. So I'll just send it back to Revane. A very poor quality control process will result in a faulty device. I'm not sure I'll try the August product again. Why I waited 3 generations. I thought all problems were solved. Really REALLY wanted it to work. So so disappointed. UPDATE @ 6 MONTHS After 6 months my wife in despair removed the lock and threw it away. The use of the speakerphone was never implemented. The app doesn't stay connected to a padlock, so you have to open it, run it, and hope to reconnect while you're at the door. 8 out of 10 times the key is needed anyway. So why be disappointed by a technology that has never lived up to the hopes placed in it? Even after replacing the lock and adding a Wi-Fi Connect bridge, the lock was also more of a hassle than a regular key lock, so why not go back to a simpler technology. One less app to keep running. Hands-free calling with your phone as an unlocking device just isn't ready to deliver on its promise.
