Review on MICHELIN Primacy 4 225/60 R17 99V summer by Mateusz Smoliski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

225.45R17 + - controllability (depends on pressure, if below 2.4, roll begins) +- price () + - soft sides (comfort struggles with handling) + - there is noise (depends on cm flaws) + - almost found a balance of handling and comfort, Michelin respect The rubber turned out to be successful, quite comfortable and safe, I put 4 Michelin stars for not testing their tires in 2022 on rough pavement. Would I take it again? no, for me the balance is not found. There are tires that are much quieter and more comfortable, there are tires that are a little louder and tougher, but with a hook and sharp handling. ps take Pilot Sport4 :)) p. You need to compare the same noise on tires of the same parameters and years of manufacture, on the same cars and road sections, etc., etc. For me, so far the quietest and most comfortable are TOYO CF2 205/55/R16 made - in - japan (car, weather, roads are the same). Perhaps Proxes CF2 225/45/R17 will be noisier than Premacy4 225/45/R17, because Premacy has a noise rating according to YM 4.5, and Proxes has 4.3 (rating date 10/04/2022, because it changes depending on weather conditions). For the sake of the test, I will not take this Japanese jelly :), maybe only in retirement. take Pilot Sport4 :)))

Pros
  • + excellent braking on dry and wet pavement + very quiet on good pavement and at a pace of 15+ + Michelin guarantee works (replaced a punctured tire without question) + good handling (depends on pressure) + quite comfortable tires + well swallows small irregularities, not bad medium and recumbent :) + does not get closer to 0, keeps + 200 km / h without problems, there are no pulsations for both the car and the driver + balancing to zero (I have made in italy) + weighs a little + safety is our everything
Cons
  • - it is not quiet if: the pressure is more than 2.4, the temperature is less than 15, rough asphalt, there is no noise from the car (I checked it at a pressure of 2.2, much less noise, but there is no taxiing at all) - there is no hook compared to ps4 (200+ one-legged horses), rubber for family people, like me, for example :) - no sharpness of control - picks up small stones (especially after rain) and throws them into the fender liner If you are not a fan of tags and traffic light wars - take it, rubber is super for you. I don’t need it either, but there is a thrill from driving a Vag hot hatch, and on this rubber it is smeared with a lack of control sharpness, alas, you need a little comfort.
