What impressed me and my wife most about the BLACK+DECKER KE3000S gooseneck kettle is how smooth and easy it is to sip the flavorful coffee it produces. It even has a coffee scent. To be clear, I made this with freshly ground premium coffee, so your results may vary depending on the coffee used. I think this is a viable way to make coffee the way you like it. The only downside is how much you have to be involved in the process and how long it takes. While the coffee I make with the B+D Gooseneck Kettle is very mild and flavorful, I'm not sure it's worth the extra time. and the effort required to brew the same amount of coffee as my drip machine. You have the ability to customize the process to your liking, but for the most part, my ninja is 95% as good as I can make this set relative to the effort. Clean the different parts and you're good to go. The water in the kettle gets hot quickly. Place the brew basket on the jug, insert the #2 filter (some are included), measure and add ground coffee, then dispense water. Pour in the ground coffee first, allow it to "bloom” for about 30 seconds, then pour in measured portions until the five-cup pot is full. Subsequent cleaning is quick and easy. When it comes to convenience, it won't replace my filter coffee maker or Nespresso machine. Not sure if it's any better than my french press - just different. This is a fun way to make delicious coffee on the weekends when you have some time to enjoy the process. However, it is too time consuming and requires a large number of users to fit into my work schedule.
