I purchased two different vests and this one by far was easier to put on then the other so we immediately decided to keep this one even though it was twice the price. The L was a great fit for my pitbull terrier mix. I measured his chest around 32 and his neck about 20 inches and decided on the large. The quality seemed very good. And it actually ended up saving our dogs life or at least a major trip to an emergency vet during a FLOAT TRIP. We were able to use the handle and pull him up out of the water to safety.
