I sent the first radio back as I couldn't get the radio and light to work after charging via USB. After getting the radio a second time I had the same result after repeating the first charge attempt but yes my wife noticed on the bottom of the radio that you have to switch to "LI-ION" to to charge the radio's battery, and soon the lights and radio were working as advertised. DIRECTIONS.
