This is the second pressure cooker I've bought and they both broke in the same weird way. We carefully took care of these things, and then they just stopped working. I suspect some electrical problem. With the first one I raised a scam problem for a TV company and they got many calls to make me happy and withdraw reviews promising to fix the problem. I was even told that the first one we had broke due to what they thought was a design issue and not a user issue. I canceled my complaints and expected them to honor their promise to replace the device, but then I got a call and was told that someone on their part had made a mistake and they would like to take a look at the $60 device with shipping and if it is defective, you will have to pay for shipping another device. is higher than the unit cost. I was stupid and bought another one because we love using pressure cookers to make delicious meals when we are busy as a family. We figured that due to minor updates, we might not have the same issues again. Unfortunately we were wrong and I want Amazon to drop this product due to the parent company's well-documented predatory actions on this device. We'll end up buying another pressure cooker if we can, but next time we'll choose the Instant Pot. Be sure to consider any other pressure cooker brand and don't trust this company when they promise to remove bad reviews.
