I installed this on my wife's 2013 Subaru Outback while I was installing the Draw-Tite 75673 Max-Frame receiver hitch. I installed the hitch from the inside of the rear cargo area so the floor and foam inserts were already removed from the car which helped locate the car's factory plug. It stuck straight away. I removed the spare wheel and routed the 4-pin flat connector from the outside of the car through the rubber grommet in the spare wheel well. I used the Reese Towpower 78096 universal 4-way flat mount to attach the connector to the hitch. etc.
