I can use this to light candles, propane grills, fire pits, citronella torches and just about anything I want. I don't have to worry about running out of butane or burning my fingers if the match gets too weak. I recently caught fire in my kitchen trying to fill and use a butane gas torch. These are much safer! (PS - I put out the fire before much damage was done, but I will never use butane indoors again.) You keep your hand a reasonable distance when lighting propane grills and fire pits. I no longer have burned hairs on my arms. Yes! This is an amazing solution. Try them!
