After removing the entire tank, the hardest part is getting the old bearing off the floor the tub. There are only 2 screws holding it in place but it will most likely get stuck from years of dirt and water build up. I had to take a very large (about 1 1/8") head and knock it out with a hammer. After cleaning the inside of the rail with steel wool and 180 grit sandpaper, apply a light coat of white grease or something similar and put a new one back on.If you need to smack it in, use a block of wood or something similar and gently push it back into place by replacing the 2 screws.The puck is now steady again and spinning faster than before If you want to do this job order a tank gasket kit and the matching plastic washer, you don't want to do this job twice!
