I was about to get T*kton but.
I saw it in a photo with a broken shaft. It was a hollow tube. Then I came across this one with a fiberglass handle. Feels lighter than other wooden-handled rubber mallets I've owned. I used this to press the pieces into place without leaving a mark (like a metal hammer would). So far this has worked well. I haven't used it for harder tapping, but I have a feeling it would work fine then.
Pros
- Reinforced head and fiberglass handle without any problems. The head fell apart and the handle was bent
