I don't know what happened

I love Kurt Adler's nutcrackers and have lots of them. Bought as a gift, it was covered in strips of hot glue that were not removed, the banner the chef was holding was not attached and it was clear they were trying to fix it. I will not stop buying these nutcrackers but this one was disappointing as I had to re-stick before gifting it. Overall I don't think it's that bad for the price, but give it a try before you give it away.
