This category of product deserves some research and it ended up being an exceptional deal

Short story: solid construction, attractive looks, no complaints about AC or USB performance, retractable lids with child protection and dust is a stupid cheap price for something with looks, features and performance. If you are looking at this product because it suits your needs, just click the buy button and get back to your life. was a die-hard fan of the TrippLite Isobar Ultra line (full metal adult model), lots of APCs per day (but at least four main units in a brick sitting in a storage room, not bad batteries; prematurely fouled hardware), with a lot of CyberPower in the last 10 years. I also use several PS Audio Noise Harvesters in stereo systems and home theater rooms. How did I get this product?: Instead of just buying another Isobar, I scoured the internet, read a bunch of amazingly passionate and at times wildly biased articles and reviews - no barkers (people concluding that every product in the short messages is good and happy to provide you with Amazon CTR links) who spend time writing articles are a serious group. Why Did I Buy?: Based on GE's track record and measured performance reports, and a price well above the competition, I gave this guy a shot; So far he's been a champion at everything. What am I thinking in a few months?: Pleasantly surprised. No noticeable AC, filtering or crosstalk/noise; the remaining surge protection indicator is clearly visible. Good looking product, very well built, strong and durable case. The USB dongle thing has a nice long cable that behaves by monitoring the current from the USB. Overall seems exceptional value after a few months. This is also visually appealing. For a living area where you need to be constantly looking at it / may be visible to guests, it has a classy, high quality and understated look. Not something I'm personally considering for my underground hideout - big fan of isobars which as mentioned looks like an IT department but some care. The lights are "up" oriented, you have a solid power cord coming out from the top that doesn't want to stay in your chosen position. No matter where you bend the power cord, it ends up in a position that ruins the look of a wall mount.
