Powerful and very quiet tire inflation pump. On an off-road trip I deflated the tires of 3 Rubicon jeeps to make them better suited for the terrain. As you know, there isn't as much space in the bed of these trucks as there is in the cargo area of many other crossovers. I'm talking about small compartments under the loading mats. The inflator is well made, excellent material and finish. The inflator fits perfectly in the jeep's luggage compartment at the rear and allows you to take many more personnel with you. What I did was I had an inverter installed in the back of my jeep and with the engine running I was able to inflate all 12 of the jeep's tires back to 35 pounds when we finished chiseling them. Well, like I said, the truck's engine has to be running to keep the batteries running. I was amazed that not only did we complete the task in a very short time, but the tire inflator wasn't as hot as I expected, but after it was just warm. The brass connector became very hot. Another tip to make the little rubber pieces of the pump base last longer is to use a piece of wood under the compressor. We have a long electric extension because the tire inflator comes with a short electric cable, but the rubber hose is quite long and I think it easily gets to the large tire inflation valve. Note, however, that the short power cord saved a lot of space. It's safe to inflate bike tires, but you have to keep an eye on the pressure gauge because it's FAST! I recommend this product. I hope you enjoyed this review and then I plan to post a video. I wrote this in 2015. Edited to make it shorter. Continuation of the 5th year. The pump still works fine. No problem. Very durable. The best big tire pump. I've seen the price go up, but there's a reason for that.
