Nice, but. It's not easy to hold on. Well, if you just need it for balance, though. If you need to hold on to something to actually support your weight while going up or down a step, it's no good at all. The shape is nice, but not practical. I have rheumatoid arthritis and need to relieve my knees and ankles when walking up and down stairs. It's not well shaped or awkward to grip, which helps me.
