I returned them, so anything I say will be limited in knowledge. I got them first because a friend recommended them to me. That was my first mistake. Following my friend's recommendation, I didn't read the product description and realized that these monitors are not VESA compatible. This in itself is not a deal breaker. I had a VESA adapter handy, but when I set it up. Yes. The adapter didn't work at all no matter what I did. I don't know if this is an issue with monitors or VESA adapters but after half an hour of struggling I was frustrated. After connecting the monitor to the adapter, I decided to test the monitor. by plugging it in and turning it on. Everything went as smoothly as expected. The monitor itself seems to be of good quality, but for some reason everything on my screen was substandard. The resolution was incredibly wrong and couldn't be fixed no matter how I changed the display settings. The color was wrong too. After struggling with the screen settings for half an hour, I became extremely distressed and turned off the computer to save my sanity. During this time I spoke to a friend who recommended them and we agreed it was time to return the monitors. terrible. I suspect that turning the computer on and off helped reset everything that was giving me trouble. I actually considered leaving the monitors to try and fix the rest myself but eventually decided to return them. In summary, I think these are probably good monitors. They just didn't work for me and I don't know if it was because my monitors were defective, my hardware was defective or it was something else entirely. Personally, I just don't have the skills or knowledge to troubleshoot a computer, especially when setting up a monitor is supposed to be an easy task. I ended up buying another Acer monitor and it worked right out of the box with no issues or troubleshooting, so take it for granted. You will be. 7/10 didn't work for me but might be great for someone else (maybe)
