This toy is AWESOME for many reasons! Real boxes open and close easily for surprise eggs, but they also make gifts for all of our other playsets and toys! Peppa Pig, Mickey Mouse, Barbie, Calico Critters - everyone has gifts to celebrate birthdays and Christmas! The pieces of jewelery in the real boxes are also of really great quality. We also use them in our other playsets! My daughter got them when she was 2 years old. My kids still play with it every day (daughter 3, son 7) because of the versatility! The possibilities to play with this toy are literally endless. Give him accessories and gift boxes for all your other toys, it's worth it! Make sure he has "surprise egg" containers that actually work, so little hands can open and close them themselves! Either way, just take it. This is one of those sets that is a MEGA WIN no matter how you cut it. It's perfect for gaming!
