I have a 24ft RV (ball mount on rear bumper) with a kayak roof rack and have used it in Northern Virginia for the last two winters. No problem. No clasps, latches, scratches, holes, nothing. Getting in and out to check the interior regularly is as easy as unzipping the two zips on the side. I use a clear zippered vinyl bag for mattress pads or sheet sets to store away when not in use. My only advice is to measure from the front of your trailer to the rear (spare wheel included) or just behind the battery at the back. Note that I have a 24ft trailer but I should have ordered 20ft 1-22ft instead of 22ft 1-24ft because there is so much extra stuff it's kinda dangling and I need to fuel it up. Think of the gusts of wind!
