I bought a battery operated pepper mill many, many years ago and loved it, but eventually it broke. I looked for another one and finally narrowed it down to this one and two others (they were made by the same company as my old one). I took a leap of faith and went along. I love it! Much easier to fill than my old one and just as easy to use! I hope it lasts as long as my old one (probably 15-20 years so I'm definitely getting my money's worth!). I can only recommend this pepper mill!
