The frying pan is really very well made and just right for cooking 4 pancakes or French toast at the same time. I was concerned about non-stick coatings as I've heard some of them can be dangerous if they ever peel off. So I called Nordicware and they told me the coating is completely inert and safe for cooking and poses no hazard in the event of accidental human consumption. The handle attaches very well to the pan and the raised sides help contain liquids that might spill onto the rim. I did a dry burnt egg test and the burnt egg rose very easily.
