Review on πŸ“· Sirui P-204SR Monopod from the P Series by Steve Hardy

High quality materials and fully adjustable

Just wow. I was looking for a durable, reliable monopod with adjustability. I understand it. Reading the reviews I underestimated how good it really is. It has so many settings, it can do everything I need. One of my favorite features is the pivot function. You release the latch on the bottom and you can change the angle by keeping all three feet on the ground. By loosening the locking ring at the top, you can pan without rotating the entire monopod. If you need to toss it in your luggage, it disassembles - the leg assemblies unscrew from the rest of the monopod. It comes with a nylon carrying case long enough to carry the monopod even with my video head attached. ) and this thing supports everything like a champ. ***Update*** I am now using a Canon 80D with battery and a 70-200mm f/2.8 IS ii. My new kit is over twice the weight of my old Nikon and this monopod holds it all like a champ! ***End of update*** When I'm shooting, I press down to minimize shake and this monopod doesn't move. If I had to be really picky, I'd say I don't prefer twist locks - I like the open/close locking latches that my tripod has. But that's just my preference. The twist locks work flawlessly and feature a rubberized grip material, making them easy to turn. If you are looking for a great monopod made with high quality materials and lots of adjustable attachments, I would highly recommend this Sirui monopod. Monopod Sirui P-204SR Series P
