Owned a well-known brand helmet for several years. Started looking for a new helmet, specifically looking for a helmet with a LED flash light on the back for added safety. (Compared to cyclists, there are too many close conversations with inattentive drivers who feel the need to pay attention to their phones.) I've also had instances where a stinging insect (bee, wasp, hornet) entered the slots on top of mine Helmet. which resulted in having to stop quickly and defuse the situation! So I noticed that this helmet has strategically placed meshes to prevent this. I also wanted a small sun visor to protect my face from the sun as much as possible. This helmet is highly acclaimed for its comfort, light weight and adaptability to a wide range of heads. The straps are easily adjustable. The mesh is great and doesn't impede airflow as far as I can tell. The LED strobe is the reason I didn't give it a 5. I could see that at dusk, at dawn or certainly at night this would be enough to alert drivers to my presence, but it seems to me that the brightness of these LEDs leaves something to be desired. be desired. In my opinion, this is not necessary with modern LED technology. Of course they can improve it. That being said guys this is a great helmet and I would compare it to any other I have had over the years of cycling.
