I only had problems, firstly, the coupling that allows you to connect the filter to cold water is cheap and doesn't seal. I had to buy some plumbing putty (tastes amazing) to finally stop it from leaking. Then the particulate filter housing will not stop leaking as there is no way to align the filter inside with the bottom and top ribs that hold the filter in place so the filter will interfere with the installation of the housing. I constantly had to turn off the cold water when the filter was not in use. Today I heard a loud popping noise from under the sink, and sure enough it's because I was trying to stop the leak, it finally broke under pressure. The last reviewer also correctly says that the water tasted bad for a week, yes, because of the putty, but it never tasted good, even before I applied the putty. I recommend not buying this filter, spend a little more and get a better quality filter.
