Great for "bodge wires "
Nice thin magnet wire to have on hand to make various things (transformers, motor windings, magnets etc) but also great for the Repair and modification of printed circuit boards. This material is readily available, so we stock it in the lab. While it doesn't withstand heat like "silicone or teflon coated white wire", solid core magnet wire bends more easily on the board. and also burn in part of the insulation with an iron. Much better than trying to strip the 30ga wire.
