Nice update for the 2013 Specialized Epic 29er!

My brain fox died on my 2013 Specialized Epic 29 and since there is no service in my country I decided to replace it. Finding the right shock was very difficult as the original Fox dimensions are 187 x 47mm or 7.36 x 1.75 inches. So I took a chance and it was worth it! I found a post on a mountain bike forum that said shocks that are 3-5mm taller or shorter would work (except that deflection would affect the geometry of the bike). I'm a big and tall guy so I decided to go bigger and got this awesome RockShox RT3 191x51. Oh God! It works much better than the original! You need the right hardware, I have for the front 1 RockShox rear shock mounting hardware set 3 piece set (1/2X1/2"16.0x8mm) and for the rear 1 RockShox rear shock Mounting Hardware Kit 6X25mm 3 Piece Set Hope this review helps you!
