The mirror mounting screws are not long enough to mount the mirror on my 2018 Volkswagen Passat. Also, the metal nuts in the thumbscrews aren't securely fastened, so they're likely to fall out and get lost in a slot in the car, like on my Volkswagen. I could return this item but it's such a good idea that I might keep it and try to find longer screws at the hardware store. Also, it looks like if I can install the bracket, it will block use of the day/night lever on the underside of the mirror. I want this thing to work.
