Review on ⚡️ Industrial Electrical Converter by HUANYANG: Variable Frequency Controller by Shawn Price

I bought this to start a 2hp engine. on a three-phase copy of Bridgeport. As others have said, there are errors in the instructions. Wiring page shows how to connect single phase power supply to R and T. It did not work. Connect it to R and S. The best advice I can give is that before ordering, spend some time on YouTube to see where others have struggled or succeeded. Search for "Huanyang GT". There you will find several videos including "VFD GT Series Operation”. I took my laptop into the store and followed it step by step. It worked great with no issues and I never hooked up a VFD. Watching the video will familiarize you with the features. Good value for money if you have electrical knowledge! You need to connect the disconnect and probably low voltage control wires. I went to great lengths to fit it in the case. EDIT: After successful installation I bought another larger block for my 5hp lathe. Harder to install but worth the effort. The amount of electronics you can remove is staggering! My personal opinion is to stay away from "Autotune" and just plug in your basic motor and HZ parameters. Start slow. When you learn a programming language, things start to work and make sense. I managed to program everything exactly as I wanted, including the mechanical brake. Great product for this money. This project requires patience, but I'm very happy with the results!
