Do not slide the bag on the concrete, friction will tear the bag.
It didn't rain and we only drove 2 hours. I stuffed an entire small dresser in my bag along with lots of things my child will need to move into the dorm. It was packed from corner to corner and top to bottom, it took 4 people to load it into the car. We then removed the bag and took it up 3 flights of stairs. The handles made it easy.
