I bought this product on purpose because I needed a dedicated USB-C powered option for longer VR immersions with my Oculus Quest 2 via the Quest Link cable. So far I'm very satisfied after a four hour VR session without any major issues. I'm using an Asus X570 Prime Pro motherboard, which offers a USB-C option right on the back, but the connector shares the USB bus with other USB devices, meaning bandwidth and bandwidth are shared. This caused frame stability issues and my headset stopped working after just an hour or two of gaming. With this little guy, my stability issues seem to have been resolved after my first four hour session tonight. Also, Power Pass-Through eliminates the need to charge the headset while gaming and keeps the headset going much longer. I'm very happy with this product for my use case and if you're looking to upgrade your Oculus Quest 2 setup I think it's a no-brainer. Some notes on product fragility: I noticed this. It was a bit tricky to connect the SATA power cable to the board as the connector has no reinforcement, just two plastic pins that go into the board and metal pins. With enough pressure, I can see how some people might break their connectors. This wasn't the case for me as I pushed the connector from the back to keep it stable and not break when I push the SATA connector. The red light on the board indicates that it is being powered by my PSU.
