Perfect Watch: Watch

I've worn thousands of dollars worth of most major Swiss brands but I always end up going back to my Easy Reader. I'm not saying they have a unique in-house production mechanical movement, a handcrafted case, or details that need to be appreciated under a magnifying glass, but for what the watch is meant to do, it's perfect. No matter how much money I've spent on watches, I've never been able to find the right combination of comfort, durability, precision, and clarity that the Easy Reader has. Most watches these days are too big, too heavy, too thick, or otherwise uncomfortable. 35mm is the perfect size for me and I hope Timex doesn't kill it being insanely big like everyone else. I also don't know why there are so few watches with Arabic numerals. I need to be able to read the time quickly and accurately in stressful situations, and I appreciate how Timex uses Arabic numerals and a clean dial. maltreated for years. I wear it for commercial fishing and there isn't a single spot on the watch that isn't scratched or dented. I've never had any water resistance issues, but to be honest I opened the back cover and rubbed the seal with silicone before closing it, no doubt that helped. It's also the most comfortable watch I've seen. carry. After removing a link from the expander bracelet, it fits like it was designed for me. I also consider the expansion bracelet to be a security feature for me. If the bracelet gets caught on a moving vehicle, it just slips off instead of taking my hand with it. As it happened, the Timex flew off my wrist and into a steel bulkhead. Plugged it back in and everything worked as if nothing had happened. The case's relative thinness allows it to easily slip under sleeves where other watches would get stuck. There are some tricky aspects to this watch, but given the ridiculously low price, it's not even worth mentioning. the best watch for what a watch is supposed to do, no gimmicks.
