My daughter loves these slip ons. They have a rubber sole, a padded insole and an iridescent mesh trim on the upper. They are beautifully adorned with a tight black thread bow with an attached star set with imitation pearls. They appear to be made well enough to withstand light use, such as at church or parties. They will likely fall apart fairly quickly in everyday use. They look cool and are the kind of laceless party shoes that an 8-year-old girl will love. My daughter loved them until she tried them on... well she tried. The problem is that these shoes are too small. We ordered child size 4. Heel to heel measures approximately 9 inches (technically 8.75 inches is a size 4). But shoe size is measured inside the shoe (foot size), not outside (physical shoe size). ). I would estimate that her actual shoe size is 2.5. I suspect whoever makes them in China is confused about how shoe sizing is measured in the US and labels shoes based on the outside length and not the inside length of the shoe. We cannot use these shoes as they are too small. They seem good enough but if you do decide to order them I would suggest going two sizes up just in case.
